Complete RAD conversion in Yellow 40th and Matte Black

The RAD kit redesigns the front section of the BMW R 1200 GS LC with a combination of Yellow 40th, Matte Black, stainless steel and CNC-machined aluminum. The fairing becomes slimmer and more tapered, while radiator deflectors and intake components provide targeted airflow management. The additional parts required for model years 2013 to 2016 are included.

Fairing and Design

• Tank covers in the Yellow 40th design with graphics and transparent protection
• Lightweight side fairings made from matte black ABS with matte transparent areas
• Redesigned front fairing with side mounts for the original R 1200 GS logos
• Matte black tip piece with logo beneath a matte transparent finish
• Matching center cover made from matte black ABS

Airflow and Intake

• Radiator deflectors to direct hot radiator air away from the rider's legs
• Airbox snorkels to replace the original airflow restrictors; according to the manufacturer, they increase performance in the mid-range
• Sandblasted and electropolished stainless steel side protectors to support airflow around the airbox snorkel
• CNC-machined and anodized air intakes made from solid Ergal
• Laser-cut stainless steel mesh and side Unit Garage logo on the air intakes

Installation and Compatibility

The tank covers are supplied with the required holes and fasteners. The side fairings, tip piece and center cover are mounted on them. The radiator deflectors are additionally prepared for attachment to the frame.

Fits the BMW R 1200 GS LC, not the Adventure version. This kit is designed for models from 2013 to 2016. Unit Garage continuously refines its products in detail; the images may therefore show an earlier version.
