Comprehensive RAD fairing kit in Yellow 40th and Matte Black

The RAD kit comprehensively redesigns the front and tank area of the BMW GS. The coordinated components combine slimmer, more tapered lines with functional air-guiding elements and premium details made from ABS, stainless steel and CNC-machined aluminum.

Tank Cover and Fairing

• Tank cover with graphics and transparent protection
• Painted in original colors
• Pre-drilled holes and supplied screws and rubber components
• Pair of lightweight side panels made from matte black ABS with matte transparent areas
• Front fairing element for a slimmer and more tapered design
• Side mounts for the original R 1200 GS logos
• Two pre-cut decals as an alternative to the removed logos
• Matte black ABS center cover
• Matte black ABS element with logo beneath a matte transparent finish and its own bracket

Airflow and Technical Components

• Pair of radiator deflectors made from matte black ABS with matte transparent areas
• The radiator deflectors direct hot radiator air away from the rider's legs
• Pair of sandblasted and electropolished stainless steel side elements to support airflow around the airbox snorkel
• Airbox snorkel to replace the original airflow restrictors; according to the manufacturer, it increases performance in the mid-range
• Air intake made from solid, CNC-machined and anodized Ergal
• Laser-cut stainless steel mesh and side Unit Garage logo on the air intake

Scope of Delivery and Installation

The kit includes the tank cover, two side panels, two radiator deflectors, front fairing element, two stainless steel side elements, airbox snorkel, CNC-machined aluminum air intake, matte black ABS element and center cover. A video installation guide and the specified screws, brackets, fasteners and rubber components are also included.

The components are prepared for quick installation. The motorcycle's model year must be selected during configuration.

Compatibility

Specified for BMW R 1200 GS LC, R 1200 GS LC RAD, the R 1250 GS LC RAD kit and BMW R 1250 GS. The tank cover is specified for the non-Adventure R 1200 GS LC from 2013 to 2019.
