Touring windshield +120 mm for the BMW R 1200 RS

This touring windshield is intended for the 2015–2018 BMW R 1200 RS and is approximately 120 mm taller than the original windshield. It is therefore aimed at riders who want greater protection from oncoming airflow on longer journeys.

More coverage for extended tours

The touring contour, raised by approximately 120 mm, provides improved shielding around the helmet and shoulders. This can reduce air pressure and disruptive turbulence. At the same time, its carefully refined shape blends harmoniously into the BMW's lines.

Material and versions

The windshield is made from high-quality, 4 mm thick PMMA acrylic with DOT626 marking. Two versions are available to complement the desired look:

• Smoke, code BM071F
• Clear, code BM071T
• Approximately 120 mm taller than the original windshield
• Touring version for greater wind coverage

Installation

The required mounting screws are included. Unless otherwise specified, all screws must be tightened to a torque of 3 Nm.
