“Obiettivo Dakar” is dedicated to the fascination of the Paris-Dakar and those protagonists who particularly shaped the first editions in Africa. The book traces the streets of the legendary race through personal experiences, impressive stories and concise photographs.

Eight participants report on the difficulties and beauty of the Dakar. Among them is Fabio Marcaccini of Unit Garage, whose stories and work help keep the myth of the race alive. Experiences from the Dakar and later rallies also form the origin of some of Unit Garage's ideas.
