The PUIG Brake Cooler 2.0 directs airflow precisely toward the brake calipers, helping to maintain more consistent temperatures under demanding riding conditions. Tests conducted on the racetrack showed an average reduction in brake temperature of 10 °C. This can contribute to a more consistent and precise braking feel, particularly during hard, repeated braking and in high ambient temperatures.

Precisely directed airflow to the brake calipers

The two cooling ducts capture the oncoming airflow, concentrate it and direct it straight toward the brake calipers. This helps the system counteract high thermal loads. PUIG combines this cooling function with two lower deflectors or wheel covers that reduce turbulence around the front wheel and offset the aerodynamic drag of the cooling ducts.

Four functionally coordinated components

The system comprises four parts in total: two cooling ducts for the brake calipers and two deflectors or wheel covers. Development and manufacturing take place at PUIG in Barcelona using modern plastic molding technologies. The lightweight, durable brackets are made from stainless steel and feature a subtly textured black finish.

Versions and secure mounting

Depending on the version, the Brake Cooler 2.0 is offered in black, matte black or carbon look. As the versions may have different vehicle fitments, compatibility must be checked before making your selection.

Installation is designed to be straightforward. Due to the sensitive area of use, the specified tightening torques must be observed. For permanently secure mounting, PUIG also recommends regularly checking that the components are firmly seated and following the stated recommendations and warnings.
