Reinforced double-sided toothed scooter drive belt

The Dayco Power Scooter drive belt is double-sided and designed for the Honda Forza 300. Its back teeth support flexibility resistance. Tissue on the teeth and back teeth prevents cracks from forming.

Structure and material

The belt is made of aramid and is classified as a reinforced version. Aramid threads contribute to dimensional stability. The construction used is heat-resistant and tailored to the loads in a scooter drive. Composites with oriented fibers increase resistance to compression heat and reduce side wear.

Selection and maintenance instructions

The double-sided toothing is a key differentiating feature of this belt design. For the correct selection, length, width, height and the angle of 32° must also be taken into account.

When replacing, the running surfaces of the variator and the other belt-carrying components should be checked for wear. A clean condition of the contact surfaces supports a uniform contact pattern. The reinforced belt quality and the specified dimensions enable a clear assignment to the specified scooter and year of manufacture.
