BOYESEN wheel membrane block for Yamaha YZ 250 from 1997 to 1998

The BOYESEN wheel membrane block is developed as a model-specific intake system for the YAMAHA YZ 250 built between 1997 and 1998. Its design combines an optimized internal surface with a 4-way diffuser that supports the air flow in the intake area and is intended to avoid pressure losses.

Function and structure

The membrane block is made of 100% aluminum. The inner surfaces are designed for flow guidance. Model-specific membrane plates with variable flexibility work with several opening levels. As a result, the intake system is designed for controlled adjustment of the intake air flows.

Design for competition use

BOYESEN's RC2 membrane blocks were developed for competition use. The intake flow is aimed at higher efficiency and performance as well as better pulling power. The hydrocarbon-resistant design of the membrane plates supports a longer service life of the seals.

Suitable for the YAMAHA YZ 250, built between 1997 and 1998. The membrane block is intended for direct installation without modification. Intake connection and fastening clamps are included in the scope of delivery.
