The Evotech brake lever protection kit is designed to prevent accidental actuation of the front brake lever due to external contact. The race-tested road version prepares the Yamaha YZF-R1 for road use and track days.

Model-specific assembly

The Evotech fastening system allows for easy and secure mounting on the handlebars. The kit is intended exclusively for use with the original throttle tube and handlebar grip.

After assembly, it must be checked that the correct throttle grip play as well as the smooth opening and independent closing of the throttle grip are maintained without restrictions.
