BASIC tank ring for Moto Guzzi V7 models with plastic tank
This tank ring is designed for Moto Guzzi V7 models with a plastic tank. It accommodates a compatible Hepco & Becker tank bag and uses the purely mechanical lock of the BASIC system.
Tank ring and locking unit included
The product is offered as a complete set consisting of a BASIC tank ring and tank bag retaining plate. The retaining plate can be arranged on the tank bag to suit the tank shape and steering lock. A suitable tank bag for Moto Guzzi V7 models is also required.
Simple mechanical function
When fitted, the tank bag locks audibly onto the ring. To release it, the strap on the front side of the tank bag in the direction of travel is operated. The fuel filler cap can still be opened despite the ring being fitted.

BASIC system compatibility
The supplied BASIC retaining plate is the matching tank-bag-side component. A Lock-it retaining plate cannot be combined with this tank ring.
