Universal BASIC tank ring with 6-hole mounting
This black Hepco&Becker tank ring is designed for compatible BMW, KTM, Ducati and Triumph motorcycles with the specified 6-hole mounting. Suitability for the respective model must be checked in advance using the BASIC compatibility information.
Complete BASIC set
The set includes the tank ring and the corresponding retaining plate for the tank bag. The retaining plate is positioned on the tank bag according to the tank shape and steering lock. A compatible Hepco&Becker tank bag from the BASIC system is also required.
Mechanical locking
- Tank bag audibly locks into place when fitted
- Released using the front strap on the tank bag
- Fuel cap remains accessible with the ring fitted
- Recommended maximum speed with tank bag: 130 km/h
- Recommended load in the tank bag: approx. 3 kg
The BASIC tank ring and retaining plate must belong to the same system. A Lock-it retaining plate cannot be combined with this ring. When installed as intended, neither ABE nor registration is required. The motorcycle manufacturer's information and product-specific instructions must be observed.
