For the 1989 to 1992 Honda CBR 1000 F, this model-specific tank ring provides the mounting point for a compatible Hepco&Becker BASIC tank bag.

Complete with retaining plate

The set includes the black ring for the motorcycle and the corresponding retaining plate for the tank bag. The retaining plate can be positioned on the tank bag according to the tank shape and steering lock. The fuel cap can still be opened with the tank ring fitted.

Purely mechanical BASIC principle

The tank bag is placed on the ring and locks into place with an audible click. To remove it, the mechanism can be released using the front strap on the tank bag.

A compatible BASIC tank bag is required. Lock-it retaining plates cannot be combined with this tank ring. When installed as intended, neither ABE approval nor registration is required; the motorcycle manufacturer's specifications and model-specific requirements also apply.
