The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Yamaha SZR 660 motorcycle model, built in 1996 to 2000. This accessories enable a safe and easy attachment of a corresponding tank bag directly to the machine's fuel tank.

Differences to other tanking systems

The basic tanking works through a purely mechanical locking, while the Lock-IT system also uses magnets for centering. Both systems use the same metallic base ring, but differ in the attached components, which consist of either plastic or magnet.

Further information

A tank pack that is designed for the lock-IT system cannot be mounted on a basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that tank bags and tanking are compatible and come from the same system.
